Richard Greene, Chair
Mr. Greene is the owner of Rainbow Optics. Richard ha s been with the board for 10 years, currently serving his fifth 2 year term. Richard is a tiredless advocate for Sponsors, constantly speaking to his fellow business owners about the importantance of re-entry services, and their impact on the bottom line. "Regardless of what someone did or how long they served in prison, once they are released it is incumbant that the offender quickly be reintergrated into society. Stable Jobs, Housing, and Supervision are the keys to preventing someone from committing a new crime and going back to prison."
Tom English, Vice Chair
The Reverend Deacon English has been a chaplain at the Lane County Jail for St. Mary's jail/prison ministries since 1999. He holds a Master's Degree in Corrections. Tom has served on the Oregon Criminal Justice Council, which recommends criminal justice policy to the Governor and the Legislature and to the Sentencing Guidelines Board, which oversees implementation of Oregon's felony sentencing guidelines. He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Parole and Probation Association (APPA) and as a member of the APPA's National Program Committee. This is Tom's first term on the board of Sponsors, it is a testament to Tom's commitment to re-entry and transitional issues that the Board elected Tom to the Position of Vice-Chair at the annual meeting held September 2007.
Will Blasher
Mr. Blasher is the regional Parole and Probation Supervisor for the U.S. District Court. Will is currently serving his second term with the Board. Will sees Sponsors as a necessary componant to helping an ex-offender succeed in becoming a law-abiding and contributing member of society.
Jane DiGidio
Ms. Digidio is an educator who recently completed a teaching assignment in United Arab Emirates.
Barbara Nicholls
Ms. Nicholls is a retired educator.
Jada Prane
Ms. Prane is a licensed adult foster care provider for adult males with psychosexual developmental problems. She is also a volunteer mediator for the restorative justice program for juvenille offenders.
Larry Wibbenmeyer
Mr. Wibbenmeyer is a Lane County Parole & Probation officer.
Dr. Mike Weinstein
Dr. Weinstein is a physician at Urgent Care.
