Sex Offender Program

Sponsors Sex Offender Program houses 15 offenders and has been in operation since 2004. The program was driven by the need to provide additional housing to sex offenders in Lane County. Given the lack of suitable housing for sex offenders, Sponsors plays a critical role. For many clients, Sponsors offers an alternative to the streets.

Clients are referred by Lane County Parole and Probation or have completed Sponsors Men’s Transitional Program. Clients can stay for up to two years and rents range from $200 (shared rooms) to $300 (single rooms) a month. Clients need to be working or have some form of verifiable income. Most are engaged in sex offender treatment. The building is staffed by a full time resident manager and provides an office for Lane County Parole and Probation officers.
